The leadership of the Ghana YMCA paid a courtesy visit to the Country Director of the British Council Ghana, Mr. Nii Doodo Dodoo, to discuss opportunities for collaboration and strategic partnership.
The Ghana YMCA delegation was led by the National President, Mr. George Dela Coffie, the Executive Director, Mr. Kwabena Nketia Addae, and the National Programmes Director, Mr. Samuel Asamoah.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two institutions to explore areas of mutual interest and discuss how their expertise, networks and resources could be leveraged to advance youth development and empowerment in Ghana. Discussions focused on potential collaboration in areas such as youth leadership, skills development, education, employability, civic participation and the creation of inclusive opportunities for young people.
The visit also reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Ghana YMCA and the British Council to supporting young people to develop their potential, participate meaningfully in society and contribute positively to national development.
The Ghana YMCA expressed its appreciation to Mr. Nii Doodo Dodoo and the British Council team for the warm reception and constructive engagement.
