Ghana YMCA Welcomes German YMCA Delegation to Strengthen Partnership.

The Ghana YMCA today, 30 October 2026, welcomed a delegation from Germany to its National Head Office in Accra for discussions on strengthening partnership and cooperation.

The delegation was led by Hansjörg Kopp, National General Secretary of YMCA Germany, accompanied by Thomas Jung, World Service Committee Chairman of YMCA Germany, and Andrea Bolte, YMCA Secretary for International and Intercultural Relations at CVJM–Westbund.

During the visit, the delegation met with Ghana YMCA staff to discuss the partnership and explore opportunities for closer collaboration in support of young people and the communities we serve. The engagement provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and strengthen relationships across the two movements.

As part of their stay, the delegation will also visit other Ghana YMCA branches, including Mampong, to engage with the wider movement and experience its work at the community level.

We warmly welcome Hansjörg, Thomas and Andrea to Ghana and look forward to meaningful exchanges throughout their visit. We hope their time in our beautiful country will be both rewarding and memorable.
