Eckard M. Gaisler, the Secretary for World Service and International Relations of CVJM-Westbund, was introduced to Ghana YMCA by the then General Secretary of CVJM-Westbund in 1994 to strengthen the partnership between Ghana YMCA and CVJM-Westbund.

25 years has been past since then.

End of the year Eckard will be retired. That is why a retirement farewell was organized for Eckard with a number of old and present stuff in Koforidua on 27^th July, 2019 for the 25 years of dedication to the Ghana YMCA. He was enstooled as Nana Osompahene.
