Mpraeso caucus quiz for eight JHS schools
Mpraeso is a town and the capital of Kwahu South District, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, located at an altitude of 367m on the Kwahu Plateau, which forms the South West boundary.
The Ghana YMCA Junior High School (JHS) at Mpreaso was inaugurated on the 1st October, 1996 with the aim of developing the mind of young people as way of making them productive in useful areas of the lives.
During the Easter break a quiz competition was organized for all the eight Junior High Schools at Mpraeso. The three pupils namely Sampong Boateng, Gyan Odei Dorcas and Asante Emmanuel who took part in the competition for the Junior High School did marvelously well by crowing for the first position with 98 point. They came out with 3 Bicycles, 3 Dictionaries, 3 Wrist Watch, 1 wall clock, 1,300 hundred Exercise Books, First Aid Box, a set of Football Jerseys for both boys and girls, and last but not least with a Projector and Laptop and a Trophy for being the best school for the competition.
